Brooks Curry on 47.5 100 Free: “I personally did not think I was going 22.2 speed on the way out”

Brooks Curry had a career showing in Stockholm, going his 2nd fastest time ever in the 200 free (1:46.03) before going his PB in the 100 free (47.51). Curry said he has been doing a lot of 200 work in practice and was looking to be fast in Sweden but didn’t necessarily expect PBs. The 2x Olympian will compete at US Nationals in July but his focus meet on the year will be Short Course Trials in October, looking to go PBs there and qualify for the US team for Short Course World Championships in China.
