By Anne Lepesant on SwimSwam

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Jenna Frost from Jacksonville, Florida, has announced her intention to swim and study at The Ohio State University beginning in the 2027-28 school year. She will join her older brother, TJ Frost, who is in the Buckeyes’ class of 2028.

“I am truly excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my academic and athletic career at The Ohio State University! I’m extremely grateful for all the support from my family, friends, and coaches. A special thank you to Coach Nacho, Coach Bill, and the entire OSU staff for giving me this incredible opportunity! GO BUCKS!!

Frost is a junior at Bartram Trail High School in St. Johns, FL. She swims year-round with Sporting Jax Aquatic Club and specializes in distance freestyle, for which we recognized her as a “Best of the Rest” recruit on our Way Too Early list of top girls’ swimmers in the high school class of 2027.

In high school swimming, Frost was the runner-up in the 200 free (1:47.88) and placed 3rd in the 500 free (4:51.04) as a sophomore at the Florida High School Class 3A State Swimming and Diving Championships. Her 200 time was a lifetime best.

She achieved all the rest of her short-course times while still attached to Loggerhead Aquatics. Those include the 100 free, 1650 free, 50 fly, and 200 IM from the RAFC Winter Classic in December, the 1000 free, 200 back, and 100/200 breast from the FAST February Invite, and the 100 fly from Florida Swimming LSC’s Spring Senior Championships in March.

This summer, swimming attached to Sporting Jax Aquatic Club, she improved her long-course times in the 400 free (4:18.11), 800 free (9:56.95), and 1500 free (17:18.48) at Ocala Sectionals, and the 100 free (57.77) at Greensboro Futures. At Sectionals, she was a top 8 finisher in the 200/400/800/1500 free and 200 fly and a top 16 finisher in the 100 fly.

Frost wrapped up the season at Summer Junior Nationals in Irvine, where she competed in the 200, 400, 800, and 1500 free. She was a finalist in the 200 and 400 freestyle events and came in 27th in the 800.

Best SCY times:

  • 50 free – 23.70
  • 100 free – 86
  • 200 free – 1:47.88
  • 500 free – 4:50.69
