Highlighting the final night of competition was 15 year old Skylar Zuleger as she swam to a win in the girls 100 breast, touching in a 1:00.73. That dropped 0.41 off her entry time and moved her up to sit at #60 all-time in the 15-16 age group.
Also highlighting the night was Maggie Dickinson who kicked off the night with a win in the 100 free, swimming a lifetime best 49.17. That sits just outside the top 100 all-time in the 15-16 age group as it takes a 49.15 to make the top 100. Dickinson dropped from her previous best 49.32 that she swam at this meet a year ago for the win. Maggie teamed up alongside Lauren Komassa, Katelyn Anderson, and sister Anne Dickinson as the YMCA of Metro Milwaukee girls swam to a win in the 400 free relay in a 3:22.78. Maggie led off in a 49.60 while Anne anchored in a 50.08.
Anne Dickinson already won the 200 free, 500 free, and 1000 free this meet and added the 1650 free to her win tally as well. She touched in a 16:30.31, dropping 11.02 seconds off her previous best time from February. The Indiana commit has only swam the race four times in her career.
Also winning an event on the girls side was Serena Dickey as she touched in a 1:58.95 in the 200 fly. That was over a second drop for the Illinois commit who entered the meet with a best time 2:00.74 from the 2024 edition of Y-Nationals. She had a strong meet this week, also swimming lifetime bests in the 100 fly and 200 IM.
Leading the way on the boys side was 16 year old Kyle Burk who dropped 14.99 seconds en route to a win in the 1650 free with a 15:18.28. That time sits just outside the top 100 in the 15-16 age group all time as it takes a 15:16.32 to make the top 100. He was 3rd at the meet a year ago in a 15:33.46.
After finishing 17th in the 50 free last night, Levi Priddy had a huge swim in the 100 free to earn the win in a 44.07. He dropped 0.69 seconds on the day. It was a tight battle as the top nine swimmers were sub-45 seconds. Wade Pyle was 2nd in a 44.16.
West Virginia commit Roman Torres swam to a win in the 200 fly, touching in a lifetime best 1:44.76. That dropped 0.85 from his best that he swam in December. He dropped over two seconds in the last year as he swam a 1:46.92 for 4th at this meet a year ago.
16 year old Adam Barlow dropped 0.62 seconds on the day in the 100 breast as he swam a 53.93 during prelims before following that up with a 54.05 in finals for the win. He was just ahead of Sebastian Tith who swam a 54.10 for 2nd.
Closing the meet with a win was Greater Somerset County YMCA as Domingo Gatti, Nick Berger, Jack Thompson, and Christopher Wasko swam to a 3:00.26 to win the boys 400 free relay. Wasko blasted a 43.57 anchor leg allowing the team to pass Reading and Berks County YMCA who was 2nd in a 3:00.64.
